When the drama of the screens intersects with the secrets of real intelligence, the behind-the-scenes of the artistic work transforms into a living historical document. This is what the great Egyptian star Yousra recently unveiled in radio statements via the airwaves of “Naghm FM,” where she dropped a heavy surprise related to the immortal epic “Raafat El-Hagan,” confirming that she did not realize the true dimensions of the operation to plant the Egyptian agent deep within Israel until after completely finishing the filming of the first part of the work.

This story transcends the boundaries of acting performance to touch reality with an astonishing family connection, as Yousra revealed that her late uncle was none other than the legendary officer “Mohamed Naseem” (whose character was brilliantly portrayed by the artist Nabil El-Halafawy), one of the most prominent figures in the Egyptian General Intelligence and the direct responsible for recruiting, training, and guiding Raafat El-Gamal (Raafat El-Hagan), and crafting his false identity under the name “Jack Betton” to integrate into Israeli society. This close connection made the cast live in a state of constant astonishment at the enormity of the historical responsibility of the mission, allowing the Egyptian artist to express her immense pride in witnessing a true and tangible national heroism up close, far from the plots of cinematic fiction.
