«الأرصاد»: أمطار غزيرة وسيول وبَرَد على 5 مناطق – أخبار السعودية
توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد استمرار هطول الأمطار الرعدية المتوسطة إلى الغزيرة، اليوم (الأحد)، على أجزاء من جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة، قد تؤدي إلى جريان السيول وتكون مصحوبة بزخات من البَرَد.
وأوضح المركز في تقريره اليومي عن حالة الطقس أن الفرصة مهيأة أيضاً لهطول أمطار خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من مناطق تبوك والجوف وحائل والقصيم والحدود الشمالية والمنطقة الشرقية.
رياح مثيرة للغبار وضباب
وأشار التقرير إلى استمرار تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، إضافة إلى أجزاء من منطقة نجران، ما قد يؤدي إلى تدنٍ في مدى الرؤية الأفقية.
ولا يُستبعد تكوّن الضباب على الأجزاء الساحلية من منطقتي الشرقية ومكة المكرمة.
أمواج تتجاوز مترين في البحر الأحمر
وفي البحر الأحمر، تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و40 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وشمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة بين 10 و30 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الأوسط، وقد تصل إلى 45 كيلومتراً في الساعة.
وعلى الجزء الجنوبي، تكون الرياح جنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة بين 10 و30 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وقد تصل إلى 50 كيلومتراً في الساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين متر ومترين على الجزء الشمالي، وقد يتجاوز مترين على الجزء الأوسط، فيما يتراوح بين نصف متر ومتر جنوباً ويصل إلى أكثر من مترين مع السحب الرعدية.
وتكون حالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج شمالاً، وخفيفاً إلى متوسط يصل إلى مائج في الجزء الأوسط، فيما يصل إلى مائج جنوباً بالتزامن مع السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
الخليج العربي خفيف الموج
أما الخليج العربي، فتكون الرياح السطحية جنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و30 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزأين الشمالي والجنوبي.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيف الموج على الجزأين الشمالي والجنوبي.
The National Center of Meteorology expects moderate to heavy thunderstorm rains to continue today (Sunday) in parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah, which may lead to flash floods and be accompanied by hail showers.
The center clarified in its daily weather report that there is also a chance of light to moderate rains in parts of the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Hail, Al-Qassim, the Northern Borders, and the Eastern Province.
Winds Causing Dust and Fog
The report indicated that the effects of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of those regions, in addition to parts of Najran, which may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility.
Fog formation is also not ruled out in the coastal areas of the Eastern Province and Makkah.
Waves Exceeding Two Meters in the Red Sea
In the Red Sea, surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging from 15 to 40 kilometers per hour in the northern part, and northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds between 10 and 30 kilometers per hour in the central part, which may reach up to 45 kilometers per hour.
In the southern part, winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds between 10 and 30 kilometers per hour, and may reach up to 50 kilometers per hour with the formation of rainy thunderstorm clouds.
Wave heights will range from one to two meters in the northern part, and may exceed two meters in the central part, while in the south, it will range from half a meter to one meter and exceed two meters with thunderstorm clouds.
The sea condition will be light to moderate wave in the north, light to moderate reaching choppy in the central part, while it will be choppy in the south in conjunction with rainy thunderstorm clouds.
Light Waves in the Arabian Gulf
As for the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 30 kilometers per hour in the northern and southern parts.
Wave heights will range from half a meter to one meter, while the sea condition will be light wave in the northern and southern parts.
