في واحدة من أضخم الضربات الأمنية المنسقة عبر القارة الأوروبية، أعلنت وكالة تطبيق القانون الأوروبية «يوروبول» عن تفكيك أعتى شبكة إجرامية دولية لتجارة المخدرات في غرب البلقان، بعد سنوات من التتبع والتحقيقات المعقدة التي كشفت إمبراطورية تحكمها التصفيات الدموية والهجمات بالقنابل اليدوية.
وبدأت الخيوط الحاسمة للعملية الكبرى بمداهمات مباغتة استهدفت 42 موقعاً في إسبانيا وسلوفينيا، أدت لإلقاء القبض على 36 متهماً بارزاً ينتمون لجنسيات متعددة من سلوفينيا، وصربيا، وبلغاريا، وتركيا، وهولندا، لتنضم هذه القائمة إلى 11 عنصراً جرى احتجازهم في مراحل سابقة من التحقيق المقعد.
وكشفت التحقيقات أن العصابة استخدمت حيلة شاحنات البضائع التجارية وسائقي الترانزيت لنقل أطنان من الكوكايين والميثامفيتامين بين بلجيكا وهولندا وإسبانيا ونشرها في أنحاء أوروبا، متموهة تحت غطاء التجارة الشرعية، ومستعينة بتطبيقات تشفير سرية مثل «SKY ECC» لتنسيق العمليات وتفادي أعين الرقابة.
ولم تتوقف بشاعة الشبكة عند التهريب، إذ ربطها المحققون بسلسلة اغتيالات، واختطاف لأحد أعضائها، وهجمات مروعة بالقنابل اليدوية استهدفت المتمردين وعائلاتهم لفرض الانضباط الداخلي، قبل أن تنجح الأجهزة الأمنية بعد اختراق المحادثات المشفرة في توثيق تورط الجماعة في تهريب أكثر من 2.5 طن من القنب ومئات الكيلوغرامات من الكوكايين والهيروين، إلى جانب مصادرة أسلحة آلية وأموال ومجموعة واسعة من المواد المخدرة.

The crucial threads of the major operation began with surprise raids targeting 42 locations in Spain and Slovenia, leading to the arrest of 36 prominent suspects from multiple nationalities including Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and the Netherlands, adding to a list of 11 individuals who had been detained in earlier stages of the extensive investigation.
Investigations revealed that the gang used the ruse of commercial cargo trucks and transit drivers to transport tons of cocaine and methamphetamine between Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain, distributing it across Europe, camouflaged under the guise of legitimate trade, and utilizing secret encryption applications like “SKY ECC” to coordinate operations and evade surveillance.
The brutality of the network did not stop at smuggling, as investigators linked it to a series of assassinations, the kidnapping of one of its members, and horrific grenade attacks targeting rebels and their families to enforce internal discipline, before security agencies succeeded in documenting the group’s involvement in smuggling over 2.5 tons of cannabis and hundreds of kilograms of cocaine and heroin after infiltrating encrypted conversations, along with seizing automatic weapons, money, and a wide range of narcotic substances.
