The military operations against the Houthi terrorist militia continue today (Sunday), coinciding with the escalation of confrontations on several fronts, as part of the “Yemen Dawn” operation announced by the Yemeni leadership aimed at restoring state institutions.

Local Yemeni sources confirmed that three airstrikes targeted Houthi positions in the capital, Sana’a, amid ongoing airstrikes and military movements, while clashes continue in Taiz province and areas along the western coast.

A military source reported that the Yemeni armed forces have identified kill boxes targeting the Houthis in Taiz. He added that supply routes in eastern and western rural Taiz are included in the designated kill boxes against the Houthis. The source announced that the warplanes will execute a target bank “cutting supply lines and military positions” of the Houthis.

Field sources and video clips reported an intensification of airstrikes targeting the positions and reinforcements of the Houthi militias in Taiz. A field source stated that the airstrikes heavily targeted the militias in eastern and western rural Taiz, and the roads leading to the city of Taiz, which has been besieged by the Houthis for days.

The Yemeni forces announced the execution of more than 1,900 precise targeting operations against high-value military targets of the Houthi militias in the last 24 hours, confirming that they have succeeded in making field advances and regaining additional positions.

In a related context, the armed forces and the Yemeni resistance burned vehicles belonging to the Houthi militias in the Al-Quroud area, following an attempt by the militias to advance into the region.

Video clips showed the Southern Giants Forces destroying 5 armored Houthi vehicles, killing those inside, during the militias’ attempt to advance towards the Dhobab Airport on the western coast.

The government forces reported that they repelled three attacks in Taiz province, two of which targeted positions near the strategic strait, and announced the downing of two explosive-laden drones in Taiz and Hajjah.

On the Al-Shaqab front south of Taiz, the Yemeni army announced the thwarting of a Houthi attack, noting that there were casualties among the attackers and the destruction of a military vehicle. The Giants Forces and the National Shield Forces also announced the thwarting of attempted attacks and infiltrations near the Dhobab Airport, coinciding with airstrikes targeting Houthi reinforcements, according to government forces’ statements.

These developments come in the context of the “Yemen Dawn” operation, which was announced by the Yemeni leadership aimed at restoring state institutions and areas under Houthi control. The military spokesperson for the government forces announced the execution of extensive operations targeting positions, ammunition depots, and vehicles belonging to the militia.
