Recurring Seismic Activity
Pakistan experiences recurring seismic activity due to its geographical location at the convergence of several major tectonic plates, making large parts of the country susceptible to earthquakes of varying magnitudes.
In recent months, areas in Balochistan have recorded several earthquakes, including tremors felt by residents in Quetta, Ziarat, Harnai, and other regions, with no significant human losses reported in most cases.
