رئاسة الاتحاد الأوروبي تقترح خفض الميزانية 140 مليار يورو – أخبار السعودية
اقترحت إيرلندا، التي تتولى الرئاسة الدورية للاتحاد الأوروبي اليوم (السبت)، خفض الميزانية المقبلة المقترحة للتكتل بمقدار 140 مليار يورو (155 مليار دولار)، وفقاً لمسودة جديدة، في إطار السعي للتوصل إلى اتفاق.
وتخوض دول الاتحاد الأوروبي مفاوضات شاقة بشأن حجم الميزانية القادمة، حيث تقود ألمانيا الدعوات إلى خفض المقترح السابق الذي قدمته المفوضية الأوروبية بقيمة تريليوني يورو.
Ireland, which currently holds the rotating presidency of the European Union today (Saturday), has proposed a reduction of the upcoming budget for the bloc by 140 billion euros (155 billion dollars), according to a new draft, in an effort to reach an agreement.
EU countries are engaged in tough negotiations regarding the size of the upcoming budget, with Germany leading calls to cut the previous proposal put forward by the European Commission, which was valued at two trillion euros.
