%6 ارتفاع بالأسعار.. قفزة للغاز الأوروبي – أخبار السعودية
ارتفعت أسعار الغاز الطبيعي الأوروبي بشكل كبير خلال تعاملات اليوم، بعدما تراجعت إيران عن قرار إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز.
وفي بورصة أمستردام، قفزت العقود الآجلة للغاز الطبيعي الهولندي «تي تي إف» بواقع نحو 6% لتصل إلى 41.02 يورو «48.26 دولار» للميغاواط في الساعة..
زيادة التوترات
ومطلع الأسبوع، سحبت إيران إعلانها السابق بإعادة فتح مضيق هرمز وكثفت العمل العسكري الذي استهدف السفن في المنطقة.
وزادت التوترات جراء الحصار البحري الأمريكي في المضيق، إذ هاجمت البحرية الأمريكية، أمس، سفينة شحن إيرانية وصادرتها، وتعهد الجيش الإيراني بالرد.
وأدت الحرب في إيران وغلق المضيق التجاري الحيوي إلى ارتفاع أسعار الغاز الطبيعي إلى 74 يورو للميغاواط في الساعة خلال مارس الماضي، وقبل اندلاع الصراع، بلغت الأسعار حوالي 31 يورو للميغاواط في الساعة.
European natural gas prices surged significantly during today’s trading, after Iran reversed its decision to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
In the Amsterdam exchange, Dutch natural gas futures “TTF” jumped by about 6% to reach €41.02 ($48.26) per megawatt-hour.
Increased Tensions
At the beginning of the week, Iran withdrew its previous announcement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and intensified military operations targeting ships in the region.
Tensions escalated due to the U.S. naval blockade in the strait, as the U.S. Navy attacked and seized an Iranian cargo ship yesterday, and the Iranian military vowed to respond.
The war in Iran and the closure of the vital trade strait led to natural gas prices rising to €74 per megawatt-hour last March, while before the outbreak of the conflict, prices were around €31 per megawatt-hour.
