كشف المجلس العالمي للسفر والسياحة في بيان له أبرز نتائج تقرير الأثر الاقتصادي لعام 2025 لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط، وأشار إلى الأداء القوي والمتواصل لقطاع السياحة في المملكة العربية السعودية.
7.4 % مساهمة القطاع في الناتج المحلي
ووفقاً للتقرير، تمثل المملكة أكبر اقتصاد سياحي في الشرق الأوسط، إذ بلغت المساهمة الإجمالية لقطاع السفر والسياحة نحو 178 مليار دولار في 2025، بما يعادل 46% من إجمالي الاقتصاد السياحي في المنطقة، وفق منهجية تشمل الأثر المباشر وغير المباشر والمستحث للقطاع.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن مساهمة القطاع في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي للمملكة سجلت نمواً بنسبة 7.4% خلال 2025، وهو ما يقارب ضعف متوسط النمو العالمي البالغ 4.1%، كما تجاوزت المملكة متوسط النمو الإقليمي في الشرق الأوسط البالغ 5.3%، لتعزز موقعها كأسرع سوق سياحية نمواً في المنطقة.
The World Travel and Tourism Council revealed in a statement the key findings of the Economic Impact Report for 2025 for the Middle East, highlighting the strong and continuous performance of the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
7.4% Contribution of the sector to GDP
According to the report, the Kingdom represents the largest tourism economy in the Middle East, with the total contribution of the travel and tourism sector reaching approximately $178 billion in 2025, accounting for 46% of the total tourism economy in the region, based on a methodology that includes direct, indirect, and induced impacts of the sector.
The report indicated that the sector’s contribution to the Kingdom’s GDP recorded a growth rate of 7.4% during 2025, which is nearly double the global average growth rate of 4.1%. Additionally, the Kingdom surpassed the regional average growth rate in the Middle East of 5.3%, reinforcing its position as the fastest-growing tourism market in the region.
