129 % نمو لمنشآت القطاع الخاص في مكة – أخبار السعودية
سجّلت منشآت القطاع الخاص في مكة المكرمة نموًا تجاوز 129% منذ عام 2020، في مؤشر يعكس تسارع التحول الاقتصادي في العاصمة المقدسة، وتعاظم دور القطاع الخاص بوصفه محركًا رئيسيًا للنمو، مدفوعًا بإستراتيجيات تنموية متكاملة تستهدف تنويع الاقتصاد وتعزيز كفاءة بيئة الأعمال.
وكشف تقرير صادر عن مركز مكة للمعلومات والدراسات الاقتصادية بالغرفة التجارية الصناعية بمكة المكرمة، بعنوان: «الاقتصاد المكي: نبض الأعمال في العاصمة المقدسة»، أن هذا النمو يأتي نتيجة حراك اقتصادي متسارع تشهده المنطقة، مدعومًا بتوسع الأنشطة التجارية والاستثمارية، وتنامي أعداد رواد الأعمال، وارتفاع مستوى الثقة في السوق المحلية، بما يواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
تحول هيكلي
وأوضح التقرير أن الاقتصاد بالمنطقة يشهد تحولًا هيكليًا من نموذج يعتمد على الموسمية المرتبطة بالحج والعمرة إلى اقتصاد أكثر تنوعًا واستدامة، قائم على تعدد القطاعات وتكاملها، حيث تقود قطاعات السياحة الدينية والضيافة والتجزئة والخدمات اللوجستية هذا النمو، إلى جانب بروز قطاعات واعدة مثل الاقتصاد الرقمي والخدمات التقنية وريادة الأعمال.
وبيّن أن مكة المكرمة تمتلك مقومات اقتصادية فريدة، تتمثل في مكانتها الدينية العالمية، واستقبالها ملايين الحجاج والمعتمرين سنويًا، ما يخلق طلبًا مستدامًا على مختلف الأنشطة الاقتصادية، ويجعلها بيئة خصبة للاستثمار في قطاعات الإعاشة، والنقل، والإسكان، والتجزئة، والخدمات، إضافة إلى الفرص المرتبطة بسلاسل الإمداد والخدمات المساندة.
تحسن بيئة الأعمال
وأشار التقرير إلى أن النمو في عدد المنشآت يعكس تحسنًا ملموسًا في بيئة الأعمال، مدعومًا بحزمة من الممكنات، شملت تطوير الأنظمة والتشريعات، وتسهيل إجراءات التأسيس وممارسة الأعمال، والتوسع في الخدمات الإلكترونية، إلى جانب تطوير البنية التحتية والمشاريع الكبرى التي رفعت جاهزية المدينة لاستيعاب النمو الاقتصادي المتسارع.
كما لفت الانتباه إلى أن المنشآت الصغيرة والمتوسطة تمثل العمود الفقري لهذا النمو؛ إذ أسهمت في توسيع القاعدة الاقتصادية، ورفع معدلات الابتكار، وتوفير فرص عمل نوعية، في ظل برامج دعم وتمكين تستهدف تعزيز استدامتها، وربطها بالفرص الاستثمارية الكبرى، وتمكينها من التوسع في الأسواق المحلية والدولية.
The private sector establishments in Makkah have recorded a growth exceeding 129% since 2020, indicating a rapid economic transformation in the holy capital, and an increasing role of the private sector as a key driver of growth, fueled by integrated developmental strategies aimed at diversifying the economy and enhancing the efficiency of the business environment.
A report issued by the Makkah Center for Economic Information and Studies at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, titled: “The Makkah Economy: The Pulse of Business in the Holy Capital,” revealed that this growth is a result of an accelerating economic movement in the region, supported by the expansion of commercial and investment activities, the increasing number of entrepreneurs, and the rising level of confidence in the local market, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Structural Transformation
The report clarified that the economy in the region is undergoing a structural transformation from a model reliant on the seasonality associated with Hajj and Umrah to a more diversified and sustainable economy, based on the multiplicity and integration of sectors. The religious tourism, hospitality, retail, and logistics sectors are leading this growth, alongside the emergence of promising sectors such as the digital economy, technical services, and entrepreneurship.
It indicated that Makkah possesses unique economic components, represented by its global religious status and its reception of millions of pilgrims and Umrah performers annually, which creates sustainable demand for various economic activities and makes it a fertile environment for investment in the sectors of living, transportation, housing, retail, and services, in addition to opportunities related to supply chains and supporting services.
Improvement of the Business Environment
The report pointed out that the growth in the number of establishments reflects a tangible improvement in the business environment, supported by a package of enablers, including the development of systems and regulations, facilitation of establishment and business procedures, expansion of electronic services, as well as the development of infrastructure and major projects that have enhanced the city’s readiness to accommodate the accelerating economic growth.
It also highlighted that small and medium enterprises represent the backbone of this growth; they have contributed to expanding the economic base, increasing innovation rates, and providing quality job opportunities, amid support and empowerment programs aimed at enhancing their sustainability, linking them to major investment opportunities, and enabling them to expand in local and international markets.
