هبط وولفرهامبتون إلى دوري الدرجة الأولى الإنجليزي «تشامبيون شيب»، عقب تعادل وست هام مع كريستال بالاس دون أهداف أمس (الإثنين)، ضمن منافسات الجولة الـ33 من البريميرليغ.
ويتذيل وولفرهامبتون الترتيب برصيد 17 نقطة، متأخراً بـ16 نقطة عن منطقة الأمان، ما يعني استحالة بقائه حتى ولو فاز بجميع مبارياته الخمس القادمة.
بيرنلي على حافة الهبوط
ويُعد بيرنلي الأقرب للهبوط في الجولات القادمة بعد وولفرهامبتون، إذ يحتل المركز الـ19 (قبل الأخير) بـ20 نقطة، متأخراً بـ13 نقطة عن منطقة الأمان.
توتنهام يكافح من أجل البقاء
أما توتنهام صاحب المركز الـ18، فيكافح من أجل تفادي الهبوط للمرة الأولى منذ 1977، إذ جمع الفريق 31 نقطة هذا الموسم، متأخراً بنقطتين فقط عن مراكز الأمان.

ووفقاً لنظام «البريميرليغ»، يهبط آخر ثلاثة فرق في جدول الترتيب (المراكز 18 و19 و20) إلى «التشامبيون شيب»، فيما يصعد أول ثلاثة فرق من دوري الدرجة الأولى.

As for Tottenham, currently in 18th place, they are struggling to avoid relegation for the first time since 1977, having collected 31 points this season, just two points behind the safety positions.
Relegation and Promotion System
According to the Premier League system, the bottom three teams in the standings (positions 18, 19, and 20) are relegated to the Championship, while the top three teams from the first division are promoted.
