في ليلة من أجمل ليالي أبطال نخبة آسيا تأهل ممثل الوطن (الأهلي) لنهائي المسابقة بعد «ريمونتادا» مثيرة أمام ضيفه فيسيل كوبي الياباني بهدفين لهدف، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما على استاد مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ضمن نصف نهائي دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026.
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية من الفريقين وكاد الأهلي يتقدّم بالنتيجة بعد تسديدة قوية من فرانك كيسيه تصدى لها الحارس دايا مايكاوا لتصل إلى رياض محرز وسددها أرضية ولكن أمسك بها مايكاوا، ومن ركلة حرة غير مباشرة وصلت الكرة يويا أوساكا ليمررها برأسه لزميله يوشينوري موتو ليسددها في المرمى هدفاً لفيسيل كوبي (د:31)، وكاد الأهلي يعادل النتيجة برأسية ريان حامد ولكن القائم وقف لها بالمرصاد.
وفي الشوط الثاني، نشط أداء الأهلي الذي تمكّن من إدراك التعادل بتسديدة قوية من جالينو من خارج منطقة الجزاء لتسكن الشباك هدف تعادل للأهلي (د:62)، ولم ينتظر نجوم الأهلي كثيراً لزيارة الشباك اليابانية مجدّداً، بعد أن تمكّن إيفان توني من تسجيل الهدف الثاني (د:70)، ووقفت راية التسلل بالمرصاد لهدف رياض محرز، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الأهلي بهدفين لهدف.
وبهذه النتيجة يتأهل الأهلي لنهائي دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة للمرة الثانية على التوالي منتظراً الفائز من لقاء الليلة الذي سيجمع شباب الأهلي الإماراتي وماتشيدا الياباني، فيما غادر فيسيل كوبي منافسات المسابقة.
On one of the most beautiful nights of the Asian Elite Champions, the representative of the nation (Al-Ahli) qualified for the final of the tournament after an exciting “remontada” against their guest, Vissel Kobe from Japan, with a score of two goals to one, in the match held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the semi-finals of the Asian Elite Champions League 2025-2026.
The match witnessed a strong start from both teams, and Al-Ahli nearly took the lead after a powerful shot from Franck Kessié that was saved by goalkeeper Daija Maikawa, allowing the ball to reach Riyad Mahrez, who shot it low but was caught by Maikawa. From an indirect free kick, the ball reached Yuya Osaka, who headed it to his teammate Yoshinori Muto, who scored for Vissel Kobe (31st minute). Al-Ahli almost equalized with a header from Ryan Hamid, but the post denied him.
In the second half, Al-Ahli’s performance improved, and they managed to equalize with a powerful shot from Jallino from outside the penalty area that found the net, scoring the equalizer for Al-Ahli (62nd minute). The stars of Al-Ahli did not wait long to visit the Japanese net again, as Ivan Toney scored the second goal (70th minute), while a flag for offside denied a goal from Riyad Mahrez, ending the match with Al-Ahli winning two goals to one.
With this result, Al-Ahli qualifies for the final of the Asian Elite Champions League for the second consecutive time, awaiting the winner of tonight’s match between Al-Ahli Youth from the UAE and Machida from Japan, while Vissel Kobe exits the tournament.
