بعد عامين من الاستحواذ.. «فريدكين» تدرس بيع حصة مسيطرة في إيفرتون – أخبار السعودية
أعلنت مجموعة «فريدكين»، المالكة لنادي إيفرتون الإنجليزي، اليوم (الجمعة)، اعتزامها دراسة خيارات استثمارية جديدة، تشمل إمكانية بيع حصة مسيطرة في النادي، بعد نحو عامين فقط من الاستحواذ عليه.
استقرار مالي
وخلال فترة قصيرة، نجحت المجموعة، التي تتخذ من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية مقراً لها، في تحسين الأوضاع المالية للنادي بعد فترة من عدم الاستقرار، كما أشرفت على انتقال الفريق إلى ملعب «هيل ديكنسون».
خيارات استثمارية جديدة
وقال نادي إيفرتون، في بيان عبر موقعه الرسمي: «تستكشف مجموعة فريدكين خيارات استثمارية جديدة لنادي إيفرتون، بما في ذلك إمكانية بيع حصة مسيطرة في النادي».
وأضاف البيان: «عندما تولت مجموعة فريدكين مسؤولية إيفرتون، كان النادي يواجه حالة كبيرة من عدم اليقين المالي وتحديات على المستويين الرياضي والإداري، وكانت الأولوية العاجلة توفير الاستقرار والاستثمار والدعم اللازم لضمان مستقبل النادي، بما في ذلك المساعدة في استكمال الملعب الذي طال انتظاره، ليستفيد منه المشجعون الذين يستحقون ذلك».
البحث عن المالك المناسب
وأكد البيان أن المجموعة ستنظر فقط في العروض المقدمة من جهات ترى أنها قادرة على البناء على التقدم الذي تحقق منذ استحواذها على النادي، مشيرة إلى أنها ستواصل دعم إيفرتون داخل الملعب وخارجه طوال عملية البيع.

In a short period, the group, based in the United States, succeeded in improving the club’s financial situation after a period of instability, and oversaw the team’s move to the “Hill Dickinson” stadium.
New Investment Options
Everton stated in a statement on its official website: “The Friedkin Group is exploring new investment options for Everton, including the possibility of selling a controlling stake in the club.”
The statement added: “When the Friedkin Group took over Everton, the club was facing significant financial uncertainty and challenges on both the sporting and administrative levels. The urgent priority was to provide the necessary stability, investment, and support to ensure the club’s future, including helping to complete the long-awaited stadium, which fans deserve.”
Searching for the Right Owner
The statement confirmed that the group will only consider offers from parties they believe are capable of building on the progress made since their acquisition of the club, noting that they will continue to support Everton both on and off the pitch throughout the sale process.
