البنتاغون يعزز ترسانته الرقمية بشراكات سرية – أخبار السعودية
أعلن البنتاغون إبرام سلسلة اتفاقات مع 7 شركات تكنولوجية كبرى تتيح له توظيف تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي في مهام سرية، تشمل تخطيط العمليات وتحديد أهداف الأسلحة بدقة أعلى.
ووفق بيان رسمي، تضم قائمة الشركاء كلًا من سبيس إكس المالكة لمختبر إكس إيه آي، إلى جانب أوبن إيه آي وغوغل وإنفيديا ومايكروسوفت وأمازون عبر وحدتها السحابية AWS، إضافة إلى شركة «ريفليكشن». في المقابل، غابت أنثروبيك عن هذه الترتيبات في ظل نزاع قائم مع الوزارة.
الخطوة تأتي بعد تقارير سابقة كشفت توجه الوزارة لتعزيز شراكاتها التقنية. وكان موقع ذي إنفورميشن قد أفاد، نقلًا عن مصادر مطلعة، بأن غوغل دخلت في مفاوضات مع البنتاغون لإتاحة نشر نماذجها «جيميني» داخل بيئات سرية.
وبحسب تلك التسريبات، ناقش الطرفان اتفاقًا أوسع يتيح استخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي من غوغل ضمن الأطر المصرح بها، ما يعكس تسارع اعتماد التقنيات الذكية في البنية العسكرية الأمريكية.
The Pentagon announced the signing of a series of agreements with 7 major technology companies that will allow it to employ artificial intelligence technologies in secret missions, including operational planning and more precise targeting of weapons.
According to an official statement, the list of partners includes SpaceX, which owns the X.AI lab, along with OpenAI, Google, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Amazon through its cloud unit AWS, in addition to the company “Reflection.” In contrast, Anthropic was absent from these arrangements amid an ongoing dispute with the department.
This step comes after previous reports revealed the department’s intention to strengthen its technical partnerships. The Information website reported, citing informed sources, that Google entered into negotiations with the Pentagon to allow the deployment of its “Gemini” models within secret environments.
According to those leaks, the two parties discussed a broader agreement that would allow the use of Google’s artificial intelligence tools within authorized frameworks, reflecting the accelerating adoption of smart technologies in the U.S. military infrastructure.
