رئيس بيلاروسيا: لست زيلينسكي ومستعد للقاء ترمب بشرط – أخبار السعودية
أعلن الرئيس البيلاروسي ألكسندر لوكاشينكو أنه مستعد للقاء نظيره الأمريكي دونالد ترمب فور إعداد «اتفاق كبير» بين البلدين، معتبراً أنه لن يركض لذلك كما فعل الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، على حد تعبيره.
وقال لوكاشينكو خلال مقابلة مع شبكة «آر تي» التلفزيونية الروسية نشرت مقتطفات منها اليوم (الأحد): «مستعدون لإبرام اتفاق، لكن يتعين إعداده بطريقة تخدم مصالح كل من واشنطن ومينسك».
يذكر أن لوكاشينكو حليف وثيق للرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، ودعم حرب موسكو على أوكرانيا، لكن دون أن يرسل قوات من روسيا البيضاء للقتال هناك.
وفي مارس الماضي، قال المبعوث الأمريكي جون كول إن لوكاشينكو ربما يزور الولايات المتحدة قريباً، بما قد يشكل انفراجة لموقفه بعد التعامل معه على أساس أنه منبوذ لسنوات بسبب ما قيل عن انتهاكات لحقوق الإنسان وكذلك دعمه لبوتين في الحرب.
واعتبر لوكاشينكو، في مقابلة مع الصحفي الأمريكي في القناة الرسمية الروسية ريك سانشيز، أن مينسك تكيفت مع العقوبات الغربية، وأن أي اتفاق محتمل مع واشنطن لا بد أن يتجاوز مجرد تخفيف العقوبات.
وأضاف: «لدينا قضايا أخرى عديدة يتعين حلها وهو محور الاتفاق الكبير.. بمجرد الانتهاء من هذا الأمر على مستوى أدنى، سنكون مستعدين للاجتماع مع دونالد وتوقيع الاتفاق»، لكنه لم يحدد هذه القضايا.
وأكد الرئيس البيلاروسي أنه «ليس صحيحاً أنني أتوق لزيارة الولايات المتحدة ومصافحة دونالد ترمب. بصراحة، سيكون من الجميل رؤية هذا الرجل وجهاً لوجه ومصافحته. لكن هذا ليس الهدف، وليس الأمر الأساسي».
وأضاف: «أنا لست زيلينسكي، الذي يركض إلى دونالد ترمب طالباً المال أو السلاح. هل أحتاج إلى ذلك؟ نعم، أحتاج. المال والسلاح أمران جيدان، لكنني أدرك أن وضعي مختلف تماماً عن وضع زيلينسكي. لست بحاجة إلى أن أنحني أو أتوسل. نتدبر أمورنا حالياً من دون ذلك»، حسبما نقل موقع روسيا اليوم.
The Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that he is ready to meet his American counterpart Donald Trump as soon as a “big agreement” is prepared between the two countries, considering that he will not rush into it as the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did, according to his expression.
During an interview with the Russian “RT” television network, excerpts of which were published today (Sunday), Lukashenko said: “We are ready to conclude an agreement, but it must be prepared in a way that serves the interests of both Washington and Minsk.”
It is worth noting that Lukashenko is a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin and supported Moscow’s war on Ukraine, but without sending Belarusian troops to fight there.
Last March, American envoy John Cole said that Lukashenko might visit the United States soon, which could represent a breakthrough in his position after being treated as a pariah for years due to allegations of human rights violations and his support for Putin in the war.
Lukashenko stated, in an interview with American journalist Rick Sanchez on the official Russian channel, that Minsk has adapted to the Western sanctions, and any potential agreement with Washington must go beyond merely easing the sanctions.
He added: “We have many other issues that need to be resolved, and that is the core of the big agreement… Once this matter is settled at a lower level, we will be ready to meet with Donald and sign the agreement,” but he did not specify these issues.
The Belarusian president confirmed that “it is not true that I long to visit the United States and shake hands with Donald Trump. Frankly, it would be nice to see this man face to face and shake his hand. But that is not the goal, and it is not the main thing.”
He added: “I am not Zelensky, who runs to Donald Trump asking for money or weapons. Do I need that? Yes, I need it. Money and weapons are good things, but I realize that my situation is completely different from Zelensky’s. I do not need to bow or plead. We are managing our affairs currently without that,” according to what was reported by Russia Today.
