أكّد رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا) جياني إنفانتينو أن الطلب على تذاكر كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2026 وصل إلى مستويات غير مسبوقة، مع تسجيل 500 مليون طلب للبطولة التي ستشهد مشاركة 48 فريقاً في الولايات المتحدة وكندا والمكسيك.
وقال إنفانتينو خلال المؤتمر السنوي للفيفا اليوم: «في النسختين الماضيتين معاً كان لدينا 50 مليون طلب، وهنا وصلنا إلى 500 مليون»، وأوضح أن الفيفا باع بالفعل الغالبية العظمى من التذاكر التي طرحت حتى الآن، وأضاف: «قمنا ببيع 100% من الحصة التي طرحناها في السوق، التي تمثل تقريباً 90% من إجمالي التذاكر المتاحة حتى الآن، وبالطبع نحن نطرح التذاكر في الأسواق باستمرار».
وبرزت قضية التذاكر بصفتها موضوعاً حساساً في الفترة التي تسبق البطولة، مع إثارة مخاوف بشأن القدرة المادية للجماهير المحلية وتسهيل وصولها للمباريات.
وتابع إنفانتينو: «هناك تذاكر باهظة الثمن، نعم، ولكن هناك أيضاً تذاكر بأسعار معقولة».
ومن المتوقع أن يواصل الاتحاد الدولي للعبة طرح دفعات من التذاكر على مراحل، وهي إستراتيجية تهدف إلى إدارة الطلب مع تعظيم الإيرادات لما ينتظر أن تكون النسخة الأكثر ربحية في تاريخ كأس العالم.
The President of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, confirmed that the demand for tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has reached unprecedented levels, with 500 million requests for the tournament that will feature 48 teams in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Infantino stated during FIFA’s annual conference today: “In the last two editions combined, we had 50 million requests, and here we have reached 500 million.” He explained that FIFA has already sold the vast majority of the tickets that have been released so far, adding: “We have sold 100% of the quota we put on the market, which represents almost 90% of the total tickets available so far, and of course, we are continuously releasing tickets into the markets.”
The issue of tickets has emerged as a sensitive topic in the lead-up to the tournament, raising concerns about the financial capacity of local fans and their access to the matches.
Infantino continued: “There are expensive tickets, yes, but there are also reasonably priced tickets.”
FIFA is expected to continue releasing batches of tickets in phases, a strategy aimed at managing demand while maximizing revenue for what is anticipated to be the most profitable edition in World Cup history.
