استضافت غرفة تجارة وصناعة مكة المكرمة لقاءً جمع وزير السياحة أحمد بن عقيل الخطيب بمسؤولي ومشغّلي مرافق الضيافة والنُزل المؤقتة بالعاصمة المقدسة، بحضور رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة مكة المكرمة الشيخ عبدالله صالح كامل، لمتابعة جاهزية القطاع لموسم الحج، وبحث سبل رفع جودة الخدمات المقدمة لضيوف الرحمن، وتعزيز التنسيق والتكامل في كل ما يتصل بخدمات إسكان الحجاج وتجربة ضيافتهم.
تعزيز الجاهزية للحج
وافتتح اللقاء رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة مكة المكرمة مرحباً بوزير السياحة والحضور، مؤكداً أهمية اللقاء في دعم التكامل بين منظومة السياحة والضيافة والقطاع الخاص، وتعزيز الجاهزية لموسم الحج بما يواكب تطلعات القيادة الرشيدة ومستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وناقش اللقاء استعدادات مرافق الضيافة للموسم، والجاهزية التشغيلية، ومستوى التنسيق بين الجهات ذات العلاقة، بما يسهم في الارتقاء بالخدمات المقدمة للحجاج، ويعزز كفاءة الاستعداد لموسم الحج في العاصمة المقدسة.

وأكد وزير السياحة خلال اللقاء أهمية تقديم تجربة ضيافة تُثري رحلة حجاج بيت الله الحرام، وترتقي إلى المسؤولية الوطنية في رعاية ضيوف الرحمن وتمكينهم من أداء مناسكهم براحة وطمأنينة، مشدداً على أهمية تكامل الجهود بين المستثمرين والمشغلين والجهات المعنية بما يدعم نجاح الموسم.
وشهد اللقاء مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات المتعلقة بجاهزية مرافق الإيواء، ورفع جودة الخدمات، وتعزيز كفاءة التشغيل خلال موسم الحج، بما يواكب ما يشهده قطاع الضيافة من تطوير مستمر لخدمة ضيوف الرحمن.
ويأتي اللقاء في وقت تتولى وزارة السياحة هذا العام مسؤولية الإشراف الكامل على قطاع إسكان الحجاج في مكة المكرمة، بما يشمل مرافق الضيافة والنُزل المؤقتة، في إطار جهودها لرفع جودة الخدمات المقدمة لضيوف الرحمن، وتعزيز جاهزية مرافق الإقامة خلال موسم الحج.

The Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting that brought together Minister of Tourism Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb with officials and operators of hospitality facilities and temporary accommodations in the holy capital, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber, Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel, to follow up on the sector’s readiness for the Hajj season, discuss ways to enhance the quality of services provided to the guests of Allah, and strengthen coordination and integration in all matters related to the housing services for pilgrims and their hospitality experience.
Enhancing Readiness for Hajj
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber, who welcomed the Minister of Tourism and the attendees, emphasizing the importance of the meeting in supporting the integration between the tourism and hospitality system and the private sector, and enhancing readiness for the Hajj season in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership and the objectives of Vision 2030.
The meeting discussed the preparedness of hospitality facilities for the season, operational readiness, and the level of coordination among the relevant entities, which contributes to improving the services provided to pilgrims and enhances the efficiency of preparations for the Hajj season in the holy capital.
Providing a Rich Experience
The Minister of Tourism emphasized during the meeting the importance of providing a hospitality experience that enriches the journey of the pilgrims to the House of Allah, and meets the national responsibility in caring for the guests of Allah and enabling them to perform their rituals with comfort and reassurance, stressing the importance of integrating efforts between investors, operators, and relevant authorities to support the success of the season.
The meeting also witnessed discussions on several topics related to the readiness of accommodation facilities, improving service quality, and enhancing operational efficiency during the Hajj season, in line with the continuous development in the hospitality sector to serve the guests of Allah.
This meeting comes at a time when the Ministry of Tourism is taking full responsibility for overseeing the housing sector for pilgrims in Makkah this year, including hospitality facilities and temporary accommodations, as part of its efforts to enhance the quality of services provided to the guests of Allah and to strengthen the readiness of accommodation facilities during the Hajj season.
This meeting reflects the ongoing integrative efforts between the Ministry of Tourism and the private sector, contributing to supporting the sector’s readiness, enhancing the pilgrim’s experience, and improving the efficiency of services provided in the holy capital.
