اتهام «الأب الروحي» لـBTS بالاحتيال بـ100 مليون دولار – أخبار السعودية
تواجه السلطات في سيول تحركاً قانونياً يستهدف بانغ سي هيوك، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة HYBE والمنتج الموسيقي المعروف ومؤسسها، على خلفية اتهامات بالاحتيال على مستثمرين تُقدَّر قيمتها بأكثر من 100 مليون دولار.
وذكرت شرطة العاصمة أنها تقدمت بطلب إلى النيابة العامة لاستصدار مذكرة توقيف بحقه، ضمن تحقيقات موسعة بدأت منذ نوفمبر الماضي، تتعلق بشبهات تضليل مستثمرين خلال 2019.
وتشير المعطيات إلى أن بانغ يُشتبه في تقديمه معلومات مضللة لبعض المستثمرين، مفادها أن الشركة لا تعتزم طرح أسهمها للاكتتاب العام، ما دفعهم إلى بيع حصصهم لصالح صندوق استثماري خاص، قبل أن تمضي الشركة لاحقاً في تنفيذ الطرح العام.
كما ترجّح التحقيقات وجود اتفاق جانبي مكّن بانغ من تحقيق مكاسب تُقدَّر بنحو 200 مليار وون كوري (ما يعادل 136 مليون دولار)، مقابل وعد بالحصول على حصة من أرباح بيع الأسهم بعد الإدراج.
من جهته، لم يتناول فريق الدفاع هذه الاتهامات بشكل مباشر، لكنه أعرب عن أسفه لطلب التوقيف، مشيراً إلى أن موكله أبدى تعاوناً كاملاً ومستمرّاً مع الجهات المختصة، ومؤكداً الاستمرار في تقديم ما يلزم لتوضيح موقفه القانوني.
ويُعد بانغ سي هيوك من أبرز الأسماء في صناعة «الكيبوب»، إذ أسس شركة Big Hit Entertainment عام 2005، التي تحولت لاحقاً إلى HYBE، وتشرف على عدد من الفرق البارزة، من بينها BTS وSeventeen وLe Sserafim وKatseye.
وتأتي هذه التطورات في توقيت حساس، بالتزامن مع استعداد BTS لاستئناف نشاطها العالمي بعد توقف استمر قرابة أربع سنوات بسبب الخدمة العسكرية الإلزامية، ما يضفي أبعاداً إضافية على القضية وانعكاساتها المحتملة على واحدة من أكبر شركات الترفيه في كوريا الجنوبية.
The authorities in Seoul are facing a legal action targeting Bang Si-hyuk, the CEO of HYBE, the well-known music producer and its founder, amid allegations of defrauding investors estimated at over $100 million.
The capital police reported that they have submitted a request to the public prosecutor’s office to issue an arrest warrant against him, as part of extensive investigations that began last November, related to suspicions of misleading investors during 2019.
Data indicates that Bang is suspected of providing misleading information to some investors, stating that the company did not intend to go public, which led them to sell their shares to a private investment fund, before the company later proceeded with the public offering.
Investigations also suggest the existence of a side agreement that enabled Bang to achieve profits estimated at around 200 billion Korean won (equivalent to $136 million), in exchange for a promise to receive a share of the profits from the stock sale after the listing.
For its part, the defense team did not directly address these allegations, but expressed regret over the request for arrest, indicating that their client has shown full and ongoing cooperation with the relevant authorities, and affirming their commitment to continue providing what is necessary to clarify his legal position.
Bang Si-hyuk is considered one of the most prominent names in the K-pop industry, having founded Big Hit Entertainment in 2005, which later transformed into HYBE, overseeing several major groups, including BTS, Seventeen, Le Sserafim, and Katseye.
These developments come at a sensitive time, coinciding with BTS’s preparations to resume their global activities after a nearly four-year hiatus due to mandatory military service, adding further dimensions to the case and its potential implications for one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea.
