من هو «همام الهمامي» المتهم بمحاولة إسقاط طائرة «فلاي دبي»؟ – أخبار السعودية
كشفت مصادر استخباراتية وأمنية هوية مساعد الطيار المتهم بمهاجمة قائد رحلة «فلاي دبي» المتجهة إلى تل أبيب، الأربعاء الماضي، ومحاولة إسقاط الطائرة، مشيرة إلى أنه مواطن عُماني يدعى «همام الهمامي»، فيما تتجه التحقيقات إلى كشف الكيفية التي وصل بها إلى قمرة القيادة رغم مؤشرات أمنية سابقة بحقه.
وبحسب مسؤولين كبار في أجهزة الاستخبارات وإنفاذ القانون تحدثوا لشبكة «ABC News»، فإن الهمامي سبق أن عمل متدرباً في وظيفة مساعد طيار لدى «الطيران العُماني» عام 2024، قبل إيقافه عن الطيران بعد تصنيفه «خطراً أمنياً»، وفق المصادر.
وكشفت المصادر أن الهمامي قضى معظم وقته خارج سلطنة عُمان، خصوصًا في سورية، وتأثر بأفكار متطرفة خلال وجوده هناك.
مواد متطرفة.. وإيقاف عن الطيران
وأفادت المصادر بأنه خلال فترة عمل المشتبه به متدرباً لدى «الطيران العُماني»، تبيّن أنه كان بحوزته ما وصفته بـ«مواد متطرفة»، ما أدى إلى منعه من مواصلة الطيران، إلا أنه سُمح له بالاستمرار في العمل داخل الشركة بوظيفة إدارية.
وتتركز أسئلة المحققين حالياً حول كيفية عودة المشتبه به إلى الطيران لاحقاً والتحاقه بـ«فلاي دبي»، وصولاً إلى عمله مساعداً للطيار على متن رحلة متجهة إلى تل أبيب.
التحقيق في دوافع الهجوم
ووفق المصادر المطلعة على التحقيق، نُقل المشتبه به، الخميس، من السعودية إلى الإمارات، حيث يتعاون مع السلطات التي تحقق في الحادثة.
وأضافت المصادر أنه أدلى بإشارات يجري التحقق منها بشأن دوافعه ونيته من الهجوم، في وقت لم تعلن فيه السلطات حتى الآن النتائج النهائية للتحقيق.
قائد الطائرة والركاب يتدخلون
وكان قائد الطائرة سميت ماتشار قد تصدى للهجوم، قبل أن يتدخل عدد من الركاب للسيطرة على المشتبه به وتقييده، بعدما شهدت الطائرة هبوطاً حاداً وسريعاً خلال الحادثة.
وتمكن قائد الرحلة من التعامل مع الوضع الطارئ وتغيير مسار الطائرة، لتنتهي الأزمة بهبوطها بسلام، في حادثة حظيت باهتمام دولي واسع.
«اقتلني أرجوك»
وكشف أحد ركاب الرحلة، الدكتور شوتا موساييف، الذي كان ضمن الذين هرعوا إلى مقدمة الطائرة، تفاصيل اللحظات التي أعقبت السيطرة على المشتبه به.
وقال موساييف لـ«ABC News» إن الرجل كان ملطخاً بالدماء ومقيداً على الأرض خارج قمرة القيادة، وأبلغه بأنه من سلطنة عُمان، مضيفاً أن المشتبه به طلب منه في إحدى اللحظات أن يقتله، قائلاً: «اقتلني أرجوك».
«فلاي دبي» تعلق رحلات تل أبيب
وفي أعقاب الحادثة، أعلنت «فلاي دبي»، بناءً على طلب السلطات، تعليق عملياتها إلى تل أبيب مؤقتاً حتى إشعار آخر.
وأكدت الشركة أن تحقيقاً رسمياً شاملاً تقوده السلطات المعنية يجري في الحادثة، مع تقديم «فلاي دبي» الدعم الكامل للتحقيق.
Intelligence and security sources have revealed the identity of the co-pilot accused of attacking the captain of the “Fly Dubai” flight heading to Tel Aviv last Wednesday and attempting to bring down the aircraft, indicating that he is an Omani citizen named “Hamam Al-Hamami.” Investigations are focusing on how he managed to reach the cockpit despite previous security indicators against him.
According to senior officials in intelligence and law enforcement who spoke to ABC News, Al-Hamami had previously worked as a trainee co-pilot with Oman Air in 2024 before being grounded after being classified as a “security threat,” according to the sources.
The sources revealed that Al-Hamami spent most of his time outside the Sultanate of Oman, particularly in Syria, and was influenced by extremist ideas during his time there.
Extremist Materials… and Grounding
The sources reported that during the suspect’s training period with Oman Air, it became evident that he was in possession of what was described as “extremist materials,” which led to his being prohibited from continuing to fly; however, he was allowed to continue working within the company in an administrative role.
Investigators are currently focused on how the suspect returned to flying later and joined “Fly Dubai,” culminating in his role as a co-pilot on a flight heading to Tel Aviv.
Investigating the Motives of the Attack
According to sources familiar with the investigation, the suspect was transferred from Saudi Arabia to the UAE on Thursday, where he is cooperating with the authorities investigating the incident.
The sources added that he has provided indications that are being verified regarding his motives and intentions behind the attack, while the authorities have not yet announced the final results of the investigation.
The Pilot and Passengers Intervene
The aircraft’s captain, Smit Machar, confronted the attack before several passengers intervened to subdue the suspect and restrain him, after the plane experienced a sharp and rapid descent during the incident.
The flight captain managed to handle the emergency situation and change the aircraft’s course, leading to a safe landing, in an incident that garnered widespread international attention.
“Please Kill Me”
One of the passengers on the flight, Dr. Shota Musayev, who was among those who rushed to the front of the plane, revealed details of the moments following the control of the suspect.
Musayev told ABC News that the man was covered in blood and restrained on the ground outside the cockpit, and he informed him that he was from the Sultanate of Oman, adding that the suspect asked him at one point to kill him, saying: “Please kill me.”
“Fly Dubai” Suspends Tel Aviv Flights
In the aftermath of the incident, “Fly Dubai” announced, at the request of the authorities, the temporary suspension of its operations to Tel Aviv until further notice.
The company confirmed that a comprehensive official investigation led by the relevant authorities is underway regarding the incident, with “Fly Dubai” providing full support for the investigation.
