لأول مرة في التاريخ.. النشاط الآلي يتجاوز البشر: هل فقدنا السيطرة على «الإنترنت»؟ – أخبار السعودية
يتغير الإنترنت الذي نعرفه بصمت خلف الكواليس، لكن الأرقام الجديدة صادمة بما يكفي لإعادة النظر في كل ما نتصفحه. دراسة حديثة قادتها جهات بحثية مرموقة، من بينها إمبريال كوليدج لندن وجامعة ستانفورد، كشفت حقيقة مذهلة: 35.3% من مواقع الإنترنت اليوم صُنعت بمساعدة الذكاء الاصطناعي، بينما تُدار 17.6% منها بالكامل بواسطة خوارزميات صامتة دون تدخل بشري يُذكر.
لم تعد القصة تتعلق بمجرد «مساعد رقمي»، بل بنشوء ما يُعرف بـ «نظرية الإنترنت الميت» (Dead Internet Theory) التي تحولت من فرضية مؤامرة إلى واقع إحصائي. وتشير التقارير إلى أن ثلث حركة الإنترنت العالمية باتت تأتي من «روبوتات» ومحركات ذكاء اصطناعي تجوب الشبكة لتغذي نفسها بالمحتوى، الروبوتات هي من يكتب، والروبوتات هي من يحلل، في حلقة مفرغة تبدو فيها البشرية «ضيفاً ثانوياً».
ورغم أن المحتوى المولد آلياً قد يكون دقيقاً ومستنداً إلى مصادر، إلا أن الخطر الحقيقي يكمن في «التصحر الإبداعي». وعندما تتولى الخوارزميات زمام الأمور، نلاحظ:
- تراجع التنوع البشري: تكرار نفس الأنماط والأفكار بشكل دائري يقتل التجديد.
- إرضاء المحركات لا العقول: محتوى مصمم بدقة ليتصدر نتائج البحث (SEO) فقط، لكنه يفتقر للصدق والعاطفة الإنسانية.
- فقاعة التكرار: محتوى آلي يتغذى على محتوى آلي آخر، مما يؤدي إلى «تلوث البيانات» بمرور الوقت.
وتشير البيانات إلى أن النشاط الآلي تجاوز النشاط البشري فعلياً في فترات معينة من العام الحالي. وهذا التحول يضعنا أمام سؤال مصيري: هل نحن من يشكل مستقبل الشبكة؟ أم أن الإنترنت بدأ يستقل بذاته ويخلق عالماً موازياً بعيداً عن سيطرة صانعيه؟
وبينما تتسارع هذه التحولات، تظل كل نقرة وكل قراءة محفوفة بالشك، فالعقل الذي يخاطبنا من خلف الشاشة، قد لا يكون «بشرياً» كما نظن!
The internet we know is quietly changing behind the scenes, but the new numbers are shocking enough to reconsider everything we browse. A recent study led by prestigious research entities, including Imperial College London and Stanford University, revealed a stunning fact: 35.3% of websites today were created with the help of artificial intelligence, while 17.6% of them are entirely managed by silent algorithms with little to no human intervention.
The story is no longer just about a “digital assistant,” but about the emergence of what is known as the “Dead Internet Theory,” which has shifted from a conspiracy hypothesis to a statistical reality. Reports indicate that a third of global internet traffic now comes from “bots” and AI engines scouring the web to feed themselves content; the bots write, and the bots analyze, in a feedback loop where humanity seems to be a “secondary guest.”
Although the automatically generated content may be accurate and based on sources, the real danger lies in “creative desertification.” When algorithms take the reins, we notice:
- A decline in human diversity: The repetition of the same patterns and ideas in a circular manner kills innovation.
- Satisfying engines, not minds: Content meticulously designed to top search results (SEO) only, but lacking authenticity and human emotion.
- A bubble of repetition: Automated content feeding on other automated content, leading to “data pollution” over time.
Data indicates that automated activity has actually surpassed human activity during certain periods of this year. This shift poses a crucial question: Are we the ones shaping the future of the web? Or has the internet begun to become self-sufficient, creating a parallel world away from the control of its creators?
As these transformations accelerate, every click and every read remains fraught with doubt, for the mind that addresses us from behind the screen may not be “human” as we think!
