أكد مدرب الخليج، الأورغوياني جوستافو بويت، أن مواجهة فريقه المرتقبة أمام الهلال ستكون مختلفة عن اللقاءات السابقة، مشدداً على أهمية الظهور بأعلى درجات التركيز لتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية.
وأوضح بويت خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق المواجهة، أن فريقه يدرك صعوبة اللقاء في ظل قوة المنافس وإمكاناته الفنية، مبيناً أن التحضيرات ركزت على الجانبين الذهني والفني لضمان جاهزية اللاعبين.
وأشار إلى أن الهلال يُعد من الفرق القوية التي تمتلك دوافع كبيرة، في ظل رغبته في المنافسة على صدارة دوري روشن السعودي، إلى جانب سعيه لتحقيق الفوز في هذه المواجهة المؤجلة، وهو ما يتطلب من لاعبي الخليج الانضباط والتركيز طوال مجريات المباراة.
وأضاف أن مثل هذه المواجهات تحتاج إلى حضور ذهني عالٍ واستغلال الفرص، مؤكداً ثقته في قدرة لاعبيه على تقديم مستوى مميز يعكس تطور الفريق خلال الفترة الماضية.

Poyet explained during the press conference preceding the match that his team is aware of the difficulty of the encounter given the strength of the opponent and their technical capabilities, indicating that preparations have focused on both the mental and technical aspects to ensure the players’ readiness.
He pointed out that Al-Hilal is considered one of the strong teams that have significant motivations, given their desire to compete for the top spot in the Roshan Saudi League, in addition to their aim to win this postponed match, which requires the Gulf players to maintain discipline and focus throughout the match.
Poyet added that such encounters require high mental presence and the ability to capitalize on opportunities, affirming his confidence in his players’ ability to deliver a distinguished performance that reflects the team’s development over the past period.
He concluded his remarks by confirming that Gulf will approach the match with a high competitive spirit, aiming to provide a balanced performance that ensures they can keep up with Al-Hilal’s strength and achieve a positive result.
Al-Hilal currently occupies the second position in the Roshan Saudi League standings with 74 points from 30 matches, 5 points behind the leaders Al-Nassr, while having a postponed match. Meanwhile, Gulf is in 11th place with 37 points, just 3 points behind Al-Fateh, reflecting the importance of the match for both teams.
