سفير إيران لدى باكستان: الاختراق في المفاوضات بيد أمريكا – أخبار السعودية
رهن السفير الإيراني لدى إسلام آباد رضا أميري مقدم تحقيق أي اختراق في المفاوضات بتغيير السلوك الأمريكي، معتبراً أن الكرة الآن في ملعب الولايات المتحدة، بعد أن طرحت طهران على واشنطن مبادرة جديدة لإنهاء الحرب بشكل دائم.
وفي مقابلة مع مراسل وكالة «إرنا» في إسلام آباد، قال السفير: «إذا كانت واشنطن تسعى بصدق لحل القضايا وفتح باب المفاوضات فعليها تغيير سلوكها».
ولفت إلى أن طهران سلمت مبادرتها المكونة من 14 بنداً خلال الأيام الماضية إلى الأصدقاء الباكستانيين بصفتهم الوسيط الرئيسي في العملية الجارية، الذين قاموا بدورهم بنقلها إلى الطرف الأمريكي.
وذكر السفير الإيراني أن «باكستان تؤدي دور الوسيط الرئيسي في العملية الجارية بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، وتبذل جهوداً حثيثة ومثمرة للمساعدة في إنهاء النزاع، ونحن بدورنا نثمن ونقدر هذه الجهود التي يبذلها الأشقاء الباكستانيون».
وجدد التأكيد على أن باكستان لا تزال تلعب دور الوسيط، وليس لدى إيران أي قرار بتغيير الطرف الوسيط، لافتاً إلى أن الجانب الأمريكي يتبنى موقفاً مماثلاً.
وأفاد بأن مساعي الوسطاء لتبادل الرسائل بين الجانبین لا تزال جارية ومتواصلة. وذكر أن طهران لا تزال مصممة على اتباع نهج الدبلوماسية؛ إلا أن كل شيء يعتمد الآن على الأمريكيين، فإذا كانوا يسعون إلى فتح باب المفاوضات فعليهم تغيير سلوكهم، وفق قوله.
The Iranian ambassador to Islamabad, Reza Amiri Moghadam, linked any breakthrough in negotiations to a change in American behavior, stating that the ball is now in the United States’ court, after Tehran presented Washington with a new initiative to end the war permanently.
In an interview with the IRNA correspondent in Islamabad, the ambassador said, “If Washington is sincerely seeking to resolve issues and open the door to negotiations, it must change its behavior.”
He pointed out that Tehran delivered its 14-point initiative to Pakistani friends in recent days, as they are the main mediator in the ongoing process, who in turn conveyed it to the American side.
The Iranian ambassador mentioned that “Pakistan is playing the role of the main mediator in the ongoing process between Iran and the United States, and is making diligent and fruitful efforts to help end the conflict, and we, in turn, appreciate and value these efforts made by our Pakistani brothers.”
He reiterated that Pakistan continues to play the role of mediator, and Iran has no decision to change the mediating party, noting that the American side holds a similar position.
He reported that the mediators’ efforts to exchange messages between the two sides are still ongoing and continuous. He mentioned that Tehran remains determined to pursue a diplomatic approach; however, everything now depends on the Americans, as they must change their behavior if they seek to open the door to negotiations, according to him.
