عاجل | مجلس الأمن يطالب بالفتح الفوري لـ«هرمز».. وواشنطن تلوّح بعقوبات واسعة على إيران – أخبار السعودية
صعّد مجلس الأمن من لهجته تجاه أزمة مضيق هرمز، مجدداً دعوته إلى فتحه بشكل عاجل وغير مشروط، ومشدداً على أن حرية الملاحة في الممر الحيوي لا يجوز تعطيلها أو تهديدها تحت أي ظرف.
وفي بيان مدعوم من أكثر من 90 دولة، أكد المجلس ضرورة ضمان انسيابية حركة السفن، محذراً من أن أي تعطيل للممر البحري يمثل تهديداً مباشراً للاستقرار الدولي وسلاسل الإمداد العالمية.
إدانة دولية وتصاعد القلق
وأدان مجلس الأمن الهجمات المنسوبة لإيران ضد دول الجوار، معتبراً أن استمرار التصعيد وإغلاق المضيق يفاقم المخاطر الأمنية ويقوّض أمن الملاحة الدولية.
وأشار إلى أن عرقلة حركة الشحن الدولي خلفت تداعيات سلبية واسعة على الاقتصاد العالمي، داعياً إلى استئناف عمليات الشحن في أقرب وقت ممكن، ورافضاً في الوقت ذاته أي محاولات لفرض رسوم عبور داخل المضيق.
واشنطن تشدد الخناق الاقتصادي
في موازاة ذلك، صعّدت الولايات المتحدة من ضغوطها على طهران، إذ أعلن وزير الخزانة الأمريكي فرض عقوبات على كل من يتعامل مع شركات الطيران الإيرانية.
وأكد أن أي مؤسسة أو جهة تتعامل مع هذه الشركات ستكون عرضة للعقوبات، مشدداً على استمرار سياسة «أقصى الضغوط» ضد إيران.
كما دعا الحكومات إلى التأكد من التزام شركاتها بعدم التعامل مع الكيانات الإيرانية، مؤكداً أن واشنطن لن تتردد في معاقبة أي طرف يثبت تعامله معها.
The Security Council has escalated its tone regarding the Strait of Hormuz crisis, reiterating its call for its urgent and unconditional opening, emphasizing that freedom of navigation in this vital passage must not be disrupted or threatened under any circumstances.
In a statement supported by more than 90 countries, the Council affirmed the necessity of ensuring the smooth movement of ships, warning that any disruption of the maritime passage represents a direct threat to international stability and global supply chains.
International Condemnation and Rising Concerns
The Security Council condemned the attacks attributed to Iran against neighboring countries, considering that the continuation of escalation and the closure of the strait exacerbates security risks and undermines the security of international navigation.
It noted that the obstruction of international shipping has had widespread negative repercussions on the global economy, calling for the resumption of shipping operations as soon as possible, while simultaneously rejecting any attempts to impose transit fees within the strait.
Washington Tightens Economic Pressure
In parallel, the United States has intensified its pressure on Tehran, as the U.S. Treasury Secretary announced sanctions on anyone dealing with Iranian airlines.
He confirmed that any institution or entity dealing with these companies would be subject to sanctions, emphasizing the continuation of the “maximum pressure” policy against Iran.
He also urged governments to ensure that their companies comply with not dealing with Iranian entities, affirming that Washington will not hesitate to punish any party proven to be dealing with them.
